# How do I upgrade my service?

In this knowledge base article we will be showing you how to upgrade your VPS service.

1. Select the service you want to upgrade on the [dashboard](https://royalehosting.net/dashboard/services).

2. Click on "Upgrade Service".

3. Configure your new VPS specifications.

||| After upgrading all snapshots on the VPS will be deleted.

| After paying the invoice your VPS will be automatically upgraded, make sure to restart the server for any changes to take effect.
